The Festival will deliver a mini outreach program, Art in the Streets. Performers will bring the art to the people, with memorable art ‘moments’ enlivening shopping malls and other public places throughout Sechelt during the week leading up to festival weekend.
Art in the Streets performances will be unveiled throughout the Festival week, so keep checking the website for updates.
Monday – Art in the Street
International visual artist, Mardi Ahmed will create a chalk drawing in front of the Raven’s Cry Theatre starting at 11:00 am. With Mardi’s penchant for creating amazing works, Raven’s Cry will come alive with her beautiful images. A must see, either before one of the Main Stage showcase Friday or Saturday or anytime you’re driving through Sechelt.
Noah Ord and Jasmine will perform a fiddling duo in front of IGA Wilson Creek at 4:30pm
